No an Evo Motor doesn&#039;t fit, yes the gearbox noise is normal, you can reflash the ECU so no aftermarket needed, don&#039;t buy a boost controller u need a 3port grimmspeed, RE002 are the best tyre, clutch will die at 80,000km Exedy is $650 + install, timing belt at 80-100km or 5yrs, don&#039;t buy body braces it&#039;s stiffer than an Evo, brakes don&#039;t need upgrades except if seriously tracking, get pads! Brakes direct do a full kit dirt cheap, plastics can be fixed with linseed oil or a heat gun. And a BOV usually causes a CEL if venting to atmo
And don&#039;t believe any people that claim it&#039;s undergearboxed they run a Getrag! 
Oh and you&#039;ll be at 130kwaw if you put full exhaust and intercooler with Sti 440cc injectors and a Walbro in tank, be about $1700-$2200 for that and then you get more serious, with mods.
